Privacy Policy — Husn Al-Muslim

The short version: Husn Al-Muslim does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device, with no account, no analytics, no ads, and no servers involved.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application Husn Al-Muslim — Azkar & Dhikr (Google Play package husn.almuslim, the "App"), published by Digital Cubic Lab ("we", "us"), handles information when you use it.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not collect, transmit, store on our servers, or share with third parties any of the following:

Your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier.
Your device's advertising ID, IP address, or precise hardware identifiers.
Analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or behavioural usage data.
The content you read, your dhikr counts, your favorites, or your reminder schedules.
Any data that could be used to track you across apps or websites.

The App does not contain advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, attribution SDKs, or third-party tracking code.

3. Information stored only on your device

So that the App can function across sessions, the following information is stored locally on your device, in the App's private storage area, and is never transmitted off the device:

App preferences — theme (light / dark), text size, language, and other settings you choose.
Dhikr counter values — the current count for any active dhikr session.
Reading progress & statistics — which Azkar you have read and basic counts, used to show your progress in the App.
Favorites — the supplications you mark to revisit.
Reminder schedules — the times at which you have asked the App to notify you for morning / evening Azkar.
Last-known location (only if you enable prayer-time features) — used solely on-device to compute prayer times.

You can clear all of this data at any time by deleting the App or by using your device's "Clear storage" option for the App in system settings.

4. Permissions the App requests, and why

The App requests only the minimum permissions needed for its features. Each is used solely on-device.

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — to display your scheduled morning, evening, and custom Azkar reminders. You can revoke this permission at any time in system settings; the App will continue to work, just without reminders.
Exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_EXACT_ALARM) — so reminders fire at the time you choose rather than being deferred by the system.
Boot completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — to re-register your reminders after the device is restarted, so they keep working without you having to open the App.
Wake lock (WAKE_LOCK) — used briefly when a reminder fires so the notification can be delivered reliably.
Location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION) — only used, if you enable prayer-time features, to calculate prayer times for your area on your device. Your location is not transmitted off the device and is not stored beyond what the operating system needs to provide it.

5. Network use

The App is designed to work fully offline. All Azkar text and assets are bundled with the App at install time. The App does not make requests to our servers, and we do not operate any backend that receives data from the App.

Standard platform services (for example, Google Play's own update and integrity checks) operate independently of the App and are governed by Google's policies.

6. Children

The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Third parties

We do not share any data with third parties because the App does not collect data in the first place. The App does not integrate with advertising networks, analytics providers, social networks, or cloud-sync services.

8. Security

Because data stays on your device, its security depends on your device's own protections (screen lock, encryption, OS updates). We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date.

9. Your rights

Since we do not hold any personal data about you, there is no data for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. To remove all App data from your device, uninstall the App or use your device's "Clear storage" option for the App.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles information in a future version, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. If a future change introduces any data collection, we will describe it clearly here before it takes effect.
